From One Survivor's Story to a Company-Wide Mission
At Stor-Mor, supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is more than a partnership—it’s part of who we are. Our CEO, Darren Warren, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma as a teenager and spent three years in Memphis receiving treatment at St. Jude. Thanks to their groundbreaking research and compassionate care—made possible by generous donors—Darren is now a cancer survivor, husband, father, CEO, and country music artist.
What once gave one teenage boy hope has become a mission that now unites the entire Stor-Mor family in giving hope to thousands of children and their families.
Since launching our fundraising efforts in 2021, the Stor-Mor family has united around one mission: helping ensure that families never have to worry about the cost of lifesaving treatment. Through the dedication of our employees, dealers, drivers, vendors, customers, and communities, we’ve raised well over $800,000 to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.
How We Make It Happen
Every year, the Stor-Mor community comes together to support St. Jude through initiatives including:
- $10 donated for every new building sold
- Employee-led fundraisers and company-wide giving campaigns
- Our annual presence at the Shed Builder Expo
- Proud annual sponsorship of both the Paducah St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway and the Bowling Green St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway
- Community events and partnerships across the regions we serve
We’re also excited to introduce a new tradition in 2026—our inaugural Stor-Mor Fore St. Jude Golf Tournament, bringing together customers, partners, dealers, and supporters for a day on the course while raising funds for the children and families of St. Jude.
Why It Matters
Families at St. Jude never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. Because of generous supporters, parents can focus on what matters most—helping their child heal—while St. Jude continues to lead the way in pediatric cancer research and treatment.

The Road to a Million
Our 2026–2027 campaign marks the beginning of our Road to a Million.
With more than $800,000 already raised since 2021, our goal for the 2026–2027 campaign is to raise $250,000. Achieving that goal will push our total giving to more than $1 million in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital—a milestone that reflects the generosity of the entire Stor-Mor family and the communities we serve.
Together, we’re building more than portable buildings—we’re building hope for children and families facing childhood cancer.

About St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats pediatric cancer. Since its establishment in 1962, St. Jude has worked tirelessly to increase the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% today. This massive achievement is the result of years of hard work and collaboration.
St. Jude staff, doctors, researchers and supporters have been instrumental in St. Jude becoming one of the leading pediatric cancer institutions in the country. In addition, St. Jude is the first comprehensive cancer center dedicated solely to children.
St. Jude has also created a network of online databases to share its knowledge and breakthroughs with other doctors and researchers, such as St. Jude Cloud and St. Jude Cure4Kids.
St. Jude is in the midst of a $12.9 billion six-year strategic plan. The plan is designed to help even more of the estimated hundreds of thousands of children who will develop cancer each year. The strategic plan includes expanding patient care and clinical/laboratory-based research, hiring additional researchers and doctors, undertaking new construction, funding renovation and capital needs and increasing its global investments.
